first_imgOn Friday, October 6, the “Mempho All-Stars” have announced an off-site, late-night performance at Minglewood Hall that will celebrate the music of the Grateful Dead. The “Mempho All-Stars Play Dead” will be supercharged by Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company, Allman Brothers Band, ARU), Steve Kimock (RatDog, Phil Lesh & Friends), Robert Randolph, Eric Krasno (Soulive/Lettuce), Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Jeff Sipe (Aquarium Rescue Unit), Wally Ingram (Timbuk 3, Stockholm Syndrome, David Lindley, Cheryl Crow), Ike Stubblefield, Peter Levin (Gregg Allman Band), Papa Mali (7 Walkers), Eric McFadden (P-Funk Allstars), DJ Logic, Leslie Mendelson, Lamar Williams Jr. (Les Brers), and MonoNeon.The “Mempho All-Stars Play Dead” will hit the stage at 12:30am to allow for festival-goers to make it after the final act, following DJ Logic & Friends who will be performing at 11:30PM for those looking to start the party early. Tickets start at $20 for Mempho Music Festival ticketholders, and increase to $30 for Mempho Music Festival non-ticketholders. (Love) Schmeltzer 82, of Guilford, Indiana, passed away Sunday June 2, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.She was born September 7, 1936 in Batesville, IN, daughter of the late Birdzell Love and Mattie (Krall) LoveShe worked as a Teller in the banking industry for over 30 years. She started with Peoples National Bank, which changed to Star Bank, and finally US Bank.Mary was a former member of the United Methodist Church on Possum Ridge and a current member of the First Baptist Church Aurora. She enjoyed gardening and canning her garden goodies. She loved spending time with her family. She was especially good at spoiling her grandchildren. She will be missed by many friends and family.Mary is survived by Daughters, Vicki (Carl) Goodin of Lawrenceburg, IN, and Carrie (Matt) Tibbetts of Guilford, IN; grandchildren, Jessica (Travis) Beard, Vince Goodin, Danielle (Michael) Edwards, & Hillary Tibbetts;She was preceded in death by her parents, Birdzell & Mattie (Krall) Love, Son, Rick Schmeltzer, her loving spouse of 52 years, Gene Schmeltzer, brothers, Bill, Birdzell, Bob, Don, Max, & Ronnie Love, sister, LaVerne Kaffenberger.Friends will be received Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.Memorial Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 1:00 pm following visitation.Private interment will be held at the family,s convenience.Contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
