Ahead of that scheduled appearance, Weir appeared on local news affiliate CP24, talking one-on-one with host Travis Dhanaraj.The interesting conversation touched on a number of topics in a short time, including Weir’s presence at the gala and the connections between science and the arts, the foundation of the Grateful Dead, and Weir’s plans for the future.
