GARDAI HUNT THREE MEN AS CAR RAMS INTO WELL-KNOWN RESTAURANT

first_imgGardai are looking for three young males who smashed a car into the front of a well-known Letterkenny restaurant this morning.Considerable damage has been caused to the front of the Chilli Shaker Indian restaurant on the town’s Pearse Road.Staff at the restaurant were trying to clean up the damage caused to the building this morning. The incident happened just before 7am this morning.The car mounted the footpath and crash into the front of the building and removed a number of granite slabs from the exterior.Gardai are looking to interview three males who were seen running from the scene at the time.A jogger who was near the scene of the incident said it was lucky nobody was out walking along the normally-busy road at the time. A spokesman for the Garda Press Office said “Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating the circumstances surrounding a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on Pearse Road,Letterkenny at approximately 6.55am this morning 25th, January 2013.“The driver of the vehicle left the scene. The vehicle has been seized for a technical examination. MAN FOUND GUILTY OF SEX ATTACK ON HOUSEMATE IN DONEGAL

first_imgA man has been convicted of orally raping and sexually assaulting a female housemate in the house they shared in Donegal.The 38-year-old man had pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to the charges that were alleged to have taken place on October 30, 2010.
